Ingram Micro (“we”, “us” or “Ingram Micro”) is the world’s leading wholesale distributor of technology products and services. In Singapore, we operate through the following companies: Ingram Micro Asia Ltd (IMAL) and Ingram Micro Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (IMAP).
2. ABOUT THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy sets out the basis upon which we (and our partners) will process the personal data that we collect from you. Please read it carefully. By using our services, purchasing products from us, signing up for information from us or attending our events, you consent to your information being processed by us in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
3. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, to reflect changes at Ingram Micro, or for legal or regulatory reasons. Unless we are unable to do so, we will give you reasonable notice of any changes to this Privacy Policy via email and/or by posting an updated version on our website.
4. HOW TO CONTACT US
Our data protection officer (“DPO”) is IMAL’s Legal & Compliance Manager. Our DPO and a committee of representatives from across our business work on matters relating to your privacy.

5. BUSINESS CONTACT INFORMATION
In many instances, the information we collect about you may be “business contact information”. This means information that you provide to or that we obtain in connection with a business (and not for solely personal) purposes.
This information may include your name, business position or title, business telephone number, business address, business email address or similar information.
The Personal Data Protection Act does not apply to business contact information. However, Ingram Micro will use all reasonable efforts to observe the terms of this Privacy Policy in respect of business contact information. The protection of your information is important to us.
6. HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?
We may collect information about you through one or more of the following means:
6.1 if you get in touch with us e.g. our sales team, our marketing team or our education team;
6.2 if you attend an event or a training session/seminar organised by us;
6.3 if you purchase products from us (usually you will do this on behalf of your organisation);
6.4 if you sell products to us (usually you will do this on behalf of your organisation);
6.5 if you submit information to us via any of our websites or website portals; and/or
6.6 if you submit information to us via any of our resellers.
7. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?
We may collect and process some or all of the following information about you:
7.1 your name, your contact details (including e-mail address(es), telephone number(s), postal address(es)), the name of your employer or the organisation that you represent, your job title or role;
7.2 your Ingram Micro account details and account information, and if you use our websites or online portals, your username, password and any transaction information relating to the transactions you carry out on our websites or online portals;
7.3 information about your attendance and/or participation at our events;
7.4 information about your attendance and/or participation at our training sessions;
7.5 any feedback you provide to Ingram Micro e.g. via our websites, email, at our events or otherwise;
7.6 any correspondence between you and us; and/or
7.7 any other information that you may choose to provide to us, if you get in contact with us.
8. COOKIES AND USING OUR WEBSITES OR ONLINE PORTALS
We use cookies on our websites to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and enables us to improve our website. If you would like to change the way our website identifies you, you should change the cookie settings in your browser settings.
If you logon to our websites or online portals, we may also collect details of your visits (including traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access).
9. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We may use your information in the following ways:
9.1 to purchase products from you or to sell products to you (or, more usually, the organisation you represent) and to manage the administration, tasks, payments and other associated activities relating to the purchase or sale of products (as applicable);
9.2 to provide our services to you (or the organisation you represent), including our marketing services, education services and mobility services;
9.3 inviting you to and organising events;
9.4 providing news and updates and reports about events to you;
9.5 to deal with your requests and enquiries, and to provide you with information about the sale or purchase of products and our services;
9.6 to process the registration and maintenance of your Ingram Micro account;
9.7 to personalise the way in which our websites and services are presented to you, including to ensure that content of our website and services are presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device;
9.8 to analyse your use of our services and the products that you purchase from, or sell to, us;
9.9 to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;
9.10 to investigate any breach of our contractual terms by or relating to you; and/or
9.11 to notify you about changes at Ingram Micro.
10. WILL WE SEND MARKETING MATERIAL TO YOU? WHAT IF YOU WANT TO UNSUBSCRIBE?
We may send you marketing and publicity information. When we contact you, we will provide you with an unsubscribe facility, in case you decide that you do not want to be contacted again. You should follow the instructions which are included when we contact you, if you wish to unsubscribe from future messages.
If you are an individual (and you do not represent an organisation), we will only contact you if we have your consent to do so. We will normally obtain your consent when you contact us, when you sign up for our services or when you attend our events.
11. WILL WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES?
We share your information with selected third parties of (and other group companies of) Ingram Micro to facilitate the fulfilment of any product purchases or sales (as applicable).
We may disclose your information to third parties and our other group companies where they help us in the administration or operation of our organisation (e.g. our hosting/back-up service providers, our IT service providers and our marketing service providers).
We may also disclose your information if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation, or in order to enforce or in complying with our obligations under our terms and conditions or other agreements; or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of other users or third parties.
12. THIRD PARTY SERVICES
We may provide you with links to and information about websites and services operated by third parties. If you follow a link to any of these websites or services, please note that these websites or services may have their own policies and will not be subject to this Privacy Policy. We do not control such third party websites or services and are not responsible for them.
13. TRANSFERRING INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF SINGAPORE
We may transfer your information outside of Singapore. If we do so, we will make sure there are reasonable security arrangements in place and we will only do so in compliance with the law.
14. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
The security of your information is important to us. We maintain appropriate and reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information provided to us via the Internet, and any transmission is at your own risk.
15. FOR HOW LONG IS YOUR INFORMATION RETAINED?
We will only hold your information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or in our terms and conditions, or for legal or business purposes.

We want to make sure that your information is accurate and up-to-date. You can update, correct or ask us to delete your information by getting in touch with us (either via your regular business contact at Ingram Micro or using the email address above). If you register on our websites or our online portals, you can also do this at any time by logging in with your account details.
