Director, Compensation & Benefits (Asia Pacific)
(Working Location: Heeren Office, Orchard)

We are seeking for a Manager / Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits
(ASEAN, India, China, Australia, New Zealand)

The role has matrix reporting lines to the Vice President, HR (APAC) and the global C&B function. Managing a team of 2.5, the incumbent is responsible for all compensation and benefits processes and programs across the region. The incumbent actively collaborates with country HR leaders and the global C&B / HRIS team to provide efficient and effective HR services to the Company’s internal customers.

Responsibilities include:

    Compensation and Benefits:
  • Job evaluation
  • Market pricing and salary survey participation
  • Salary structure development
  • Annual merit review process
  • Benefit program development, review, optimization
  • Implementation / Communication of globally managed Executive incentive and Equity incentive programs
  • Development / approval of new hire remuneration packages
    HRIS and General HR:
  • Implement / Communicate Global HR/C&B initiatives
  • Employment interview team member for regional office
  • HRIS system (Peoplesoft) data management, reporting, and coordination of globally managed upgrades/changes
  • HR system compliance with local, regional, global and business specific requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree in HR or similar discipline
  • At least 8 years of HR experience in compensation and benefits in a US based MNC is highly preferred
  • Relevant HRIS project management experience
  • Good understanding of C&B principles, practices and systems in Asia Pacific
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent problem solving and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated ability to serve the internal customer
  • Proficient in Peoplesoft software application, desired
  • Advanced user of MS Excel applications

Responsibilities include:

  • Product and inventory management of appointed product lines
  • Conceptualizing of marketing programs, developing of channel and end-customer demand generation
  • Engagement and cultivation of strong rapport with partners and vendors
  • Gathering of market intelligence on new products, industry trends, competitive development and constant evaluation of potential new product lines

Responsibilities include:

  • Bring sales queries to closure via phone and email
  • Generate and grow business with existing clients and develop new business source
  • Provide support to Field Sales personnel and work effectively as a team

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with some experience in sales support preferred
  • Candidates with no experience, but customer-focused and result-driven, are welcomed to apply

Account Executive, Field Sales

Responsibilities include:

  • Growing the business through identification of potential resellers, establishing, cultivating and developing new partners

Solution Consultant – Networking & Security (Pre Sales)

The Solution Consultant role is responsible for the technical development of the networking/Security solution that Ingram distributes which includes CISCO, Juniper Networks, McAfee, Symantec and Palo Alto Networks. This includes designing a complex, long-term win strategy, with a sound process-based solution architecture that meets the client's requirements and provides for a foundation for solution base engagement for Ingram Micro’s Mid-market/Enterprise channel business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide C-level solution presentations advocating Networking & Security Solutions
  • Provide Bill-of-Materials and architecture design
  • Develop comprehensive technical account plans that include:
    • qualifying accounts technically, developing demonstration criteria, delivering Proof-Of-Concepts and planning closes
    • Conducts Channel partner technical enablement training/briefing
    • Prepare prospect needs analysis and RFP/RFI responses
    • Follow-up on accounts for functional/technical issues related to sales cycle

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Overall Experience: minimum 3 years or equivalent experience in network and security arena will be preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentations skills are required.
  • Positive and motivated attitude and team player
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have CISCO CCNA – Network, Voice, Wireless, Security or other firewall brands certification (e.g. Juniper JNCIA-SEC, Palo Alto CNSE) certification will also be considered
  • Experience in working knowledge of CISCO Builder configuration tools or other network/security vendors sizing tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Additional knowledge & industry security certifications with GIAC or CISSP is a bonus

Network & Security Technical Consultant (Post Sales)

As a member of the Ingram Micro Advanced Network & Security Services Team, you will provide implementation services related to Juniper Networks, McAfee, Palo Alto Networks, Symantec & CISCO Networking

Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Technical Services Manager directly, this role is for Network & Security Technical Consultant with a proven skill set, experience and working knowledge with networking and security solutions, particularly on network switches/routers, wireless, ips and firewall product portfolio. The role includes day to day duties in the following areas:
    • Identify and analyze customer’s network/security requirements
    • Define and align customer’s network/security requirement with desired service levels
    • Perform network/security infrastructure implementation and deployment activities
    • Perform firewall migration activities
    • Participate in network/security management and reporting
    • Develop technical documentation after deliver
    • Provide technical consultancy and training to customer’s staff
    • Assist Services Delivery Team with successful project delivery

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Preferably 3+ years in Information Technology and experience in any of these fields: Networking, Firewalls and IDP
  • Receptive to 24/7 standby support
  • Possess a broad range of skills in all facets of IT and have good knowledge on one or more of the following technologies:
    • CISCO networking
    • Firewall (Juniper/Palo Alto Networks/McAfee/Fortinet)
  • Positive and motivated attitude
  • Preference will be given to candidates that are at least CCNA – Networking, Juniper JNCIA – Security, Networking certified
  • Additional knowledge & industry security certifications with GIAC or CISSP is a bonus
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply

Responsibilities include:

  • Attend to email correspondence and import and export shipment orders
  • Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule and with air/sea import department for incoming and export shipment
